Privacy & cookies

This site

Apartment and neighbourhood information and photographs. No forms, accounts, payments, advertising, visitor analytics or automated decisions. Your location is not requested.

Hosting and security

OpenAI Sites and Cloudflare infrastructure process technical data, such as IP address, browser, request time and requested resources, to display and secure the site. Legal basis: legitimate interests in operation and security. The site has no separate visitor database. Hosted-data processing follows the service term and deletion obligations in the OpenAI Sites addendum; it does not specify a fixed period for every technical log. OpenStreetMap applies its policy’s retention criteria.

Optional map

Only after “Load map”, the OpenStreetMap Foundation receives IP, browser data and requested map areas. Activation is based on consent for this open page. “Disable map” withdraws your choice and stops new requests; it does not erase data already received. Places and walking links work without the map.

Cookies and local storage

Currently, the only preference stored by this site is gaiaLanguage, in your browser’s local storage after you choose a language, until you remove it. It is used to remember that choice and can be deleted in the privacy notice. The optional map choice lasts only for the open page. No Google advertising or analytics cookies are currently set by site code. Before activation, the consent panel will disclose the actual cookies, providers, purposes and storage periods used.

Google advertising, when enabled

With your permission, Google and the advertising partners identified in the consent panel may use cookies or similar identifiers to show and measure ads. Personalised ads can reflect visits to this and other websites. The panel will identify vendors, purposes and their policies. Declining optional advertising will not prevent access to the apartment or neighbourhood information.

Google tag and optional analytics, when enabled

Optional measurement may use page views, interactions, device and browser information, IP address and cookie identifiers to understand site use or measure advertising. These services will require a separate consent choice. They are currently off. No Google measurement or advertising scripts are loaded before the required consent.

Your choices

When Google services are enabled, the consent panel will offer accept, reject and purpose-specific choices. Optional consent starts off. You can revisit or withdraw it through Privacy settings in the footer. Withdrawal stops future consent-based processing; it does not undo earlier processing. Google’s My Ad Center also offers advertising controls, but does not replace this site’s consent choices.

Planned Google data processing

Consent will be the basis for optional Google advertising and analytics. Google Ireland Limited and, where applicable, Google LLC and the vendors named in the consent panel may receive data. Processing can involve countries outside the EEA. Google’s privacy and partner-site policies explain its purposes, retention criteria and transfer safeguards. The services and settings actually enabled will be disclosed before activation.

External services and transfers

Technical recipients are hosting and security providers and, if you enable the map, OpenStreetMap. Processing may occur outside the EEA; the OpenAI addendum provides for adequacy decisions or standard contractual clauses. Provider details and contacts are in the policies below. Google Maps and WhatsApp open only when you select a link and apply their own policies. Messages are sent in WhatsApp, outside this site.

Rights

Where applicable: access, correction, erasure, restriction, portability, objection to legitimate-interest processing and withdrawal of consent without affecting earlier processing. You may complain to Portugal’s CNPD.
